Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
1. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective business relations with assigned Clients. a. Serve as a liaison between client personnel. b. Accept orders maintained. c. Ensure appropriate levels of confidentiality regarding operations.
2.Responsible for fielding incoming calls involved with speaking to suppliers and their associates, flight attendants, Clients owner services and internal departments. Daily duties include: a. Scheduling and confirming catering b. Provide continual communication between Clients c. Review and provide feedback from crew members d. Handle day-to-day concerns, trouble shooting and some accounting and other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
3.Effectively researching, tracking, and resolving (or properly referring) catering problems and discrepancies. a. Conducts meetings to ensure that Flight Options and personnel are well informed of changes in programs, policies and procedures.
4.Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Flight Options personnel and with management. a. Maintains regular contact with departments from Flight Options to obtain and convey information and/or to correct transactions. b. Assists Customer Service and Accounting Department personnel as needed. c. Keeps management informed of catering activities and of any significant problems. d. Attends and participates in meetings and seminars as required.
5. Assists in the responsibility for the planning, development, and implementation of effective customer service strategies, policies and procedures. a. Assists management in developing short and long term goals and objectives for facilitating Flight Options catering requirements. b. Ensures that policies are in accordance with evolving regulations, legal requirements, and industry trends.
6. Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of department and services performed.
7. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned. a. Stays informed of trends and changes in the in-flight catering field. b. Completes special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Aviation experience: Flight Attendant, FBO etc. Intermediate level proficiency of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and E-mail. Previous customer service experience required. In-flight catering experience preferred.
